Hu - wenn selbst Kepler die "Astronomia Nova" als ermüdenen Lektüre empfindet, dann kann das ja noch lustig werden ;)Danach erklärt Kepler, dass er in dieser Einleitung einen kurzen Überblick über das gesamte Buch geben und die wichtigsten Argumente und Ergebnisse zusammenfassen wird:"Besonders jenen zulieb, die sich zur Physik bekennen und mir; oder vielmehr dem COPERNICUS und somit dem äußersten Altertum zürnen wegen der durch die Erdbewegung bewirkten Erschütterung der Grundlagen der Wissenschaften, also ihnen zulieb will ich getreu die Grundsätze der Hauptkapitel angeben, die hierzu beitragen und ihnen alle Beweisgrundlagen vor Augen führen, auf die sich meine ihnen so sehr verhaßten Schlüsse stürzen."

Kepler spricht von "nichtseelischen, also körperlichen, magnetischen Kräften", wenn er die Art von Kraft meint, die dem heutigen physikalischen Fachbegriff entspricht.Der Kraftbegriff stellt für Kepler auch einen wichtigen Hinweis auf die Gültigkeit des heliozentrischen Weltbildes dar:Daß andererseits die Sonne an ihrem Ort im Mittelpunkt der Welt feststeht, ist unter anderem hauptsächlich deswegen wahrscheinlich, weil in ihr die Quelle der Bewegung mindestens für die fünf Planeten liegt, Denn man mag COPERNICUS oder BRAHE folgen, in beiden Fällen liegt in der Sonne die Quelle der Bewegung für fünf Planeten, nach COPENICUS auch noch für den sechsten, die Erde.

Auch heute noch gilt in der Physik, dass eine Theorie umso besser ist, je einfacher sie ist.Kepler findet noch 2 weitere vernünftige Argumente für das heliozentrische Weltbild:"Nun aber schaue man sich die beiden Körper, den der Sonne und den der Erde, an und bilde sich ein Urteil, welchem von beiden die Quelle der Bewegung des anderen Körpers am ehesten zukommt, ob die Sonne, die die anderen fünf Planeten bewegt, die Erde bewegt oder die Erde die Sonne, die Bewegerin der anderen, die so vielmal größer ist als sie'

Im letzten Absatz hört man schon erste Anklänge an das dritte Keplersche Gesetz (das den Zusammenhang zwischen Umlaufzeit und Abstand von der Sonne eines Planeten beschreibt) heraus, das allerdings nicht in der "Astronomia Nova" veröffentlich wurde sonder erst 10 Jahre später in seinem Buch "Harmonices Mundi".Im Rest der Einleitung beschäftigt sich Kepler ausführlich mit der Natur der Kraft, die die Planeten bewegt und geht ebenso ausführlich auf die Argumente derjenigen ein, die meinen, die Bibel würde eindeutig feststellen, die Erde sei in Ruhe und bewege sich nicht.Dazu aber dann mehr in meinem nächsten Artikel.Bisherige Artikel zur Astronomia Nova: Die Einleitung (1) Noch mehr Buchrezensionen auf ScienceBlogs: Weiterlesen » 1.
